Center Ave. Traffic Study - April 2013

As requested, the Broward County Traffic Engineering Division collected speed and volume data on Center Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Please see the following study results:

Center Avenue between NE 30 Street and Sea Tower Condominium:

• Northbound - 145 vehicles per day (VPD) with an average speed of 18 miles per hour (MPH) and an 85^th percentile speed of 24 MPH.
• Southbound – 113 VPD with an average speed of 19 MPH and an 85^th percentile speed of 24 MPH.

Center Avenue between NE 25 Street and NE 37 Street:

• Northbound - 40 VPD with an average speed of 19 MPH and an 85^th percentile speed of 24 MPH.
• Southbound - 44 VPD with an average speed of 20 MPH and an 85^th percentile speed of 24 MPH.
